Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about GoodPaper Review — what it checks, what it costs, and how your paper is handled.
What is GoodPaper Review?
GoodPaper Review is a pay-per-use, AI-assisted pre-submission review service for mathematics and computer science papers. You upload a PDF or LaTeX project, choose which sections to review, and receive a structured issue report by email in about ten minutes.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no account and no subscription. You verify your email with a one-time link, pay once per review, and receive your report by email. We keep your data for 14 days and then delete it automatically.
Which file formats can I upload?
You can upload a PDF, a single .tex file, or a .zip containing a full LaTeX project. For papers with mathematics, a LaTeX source generally gives the most accurate review.
How long does a review take?
Most reviews finish in about ten minutes. You see a substantial preview on screen immediately, and the full report is emailed to you after payment.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is per A4 page and depends on scope: a full review with mathematical-logic validation is $5.00 per page, structure and language review without math is $2.50 per page, and a language-and-typo-only check is the most economical option. The optional Good Luck revision add-on is $5.00. You pay once per review, with no subscription.
What does the review check?
Depending on the scope you select, the review flags issues across six levels: Fatal, Major and Moderate problems in logic and structure; Literature gaps; Language clarity; and Typos. Each issue is reported with its location and a concrete suggestion.
Is my paper kept private?
Yes. Your upload is used only to generate your review. We do not share it, and all files and results are automatically deleted 14 days after your order.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is available in English, Chinese and Japanese, and the review itself works on English-language papers. You can switch languages at any time from the menu at the top of the page.
What is the Good Luck revision add-on?
Good Luck is an optional add-on that returns a revised version of your LaTeX source with the suggested improvements applied, in addition to the issue report. It is available for .tex and .zip submissions.
